Applications
The Kronos coating, based on AlCrN, is Lafer’s solution for die-casting aluminum, zama, and magnesium. Its composition is ideal for combating metallization and allows combining the high wear resistance, typical of chromium-containing coatings, with high-temperature resistance, typical of aluminum-containing coatings.
